Association of Designers of India (ADI) is the first pan-India body that was started in 2008 & formally established as a Society in 2010 to bring together professional designers, design related professionals, educators and Industry across India.
ADI is committed to promoting best practices in the profession of design in India by strengthening and promoting the capabilities of Indian design professionals.
ADI amplifies a unified voice of design professionals to influence public policy, shape industry focus and benefit people at large.
ADI believes that valuable insights from experienced practitioners on design issues, professional practices and management help broaden design thinking. ADI members gain access to an extensive network of designers both locally and internationally.
ADI events calendar includes Pune Design Festival, Design Master Series, Generation D for schools, ADI International Student design Competition and Design Flavors WIDD, ADI Design Competition and Design Flavors WIDD, ADI Design OFFLINE & Design Mixers for professionals. Pune Design Festival, now in its 13th season is an annual international conference and is the flagship event of ADI.
New events include the upcoming Bangalore Design Week and the Make Design Happen event for students.
Whether a design student, young professional, educator, manager or experienced professional – there’s an ADI membership level for everyone related to the profession of design in India. ADI members play an active role in the India Design Council and ADI has recently signed a MoU with India Design Council.
Association of Designers of India has chapters across the cities of Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune and will soon be adding Nagpur & Ahmedabad.
